i made char with 50 mining...
I was mining for 30 minutes, broke 4 pickaxes... and no ore at all!!!
is that normal?

and btw, soon i'll just run out off my 500 gp i got at start ..cause i spent all on those pickaxes =\

no that would not be normal, your probably mining in a area that has already been mined.
Try a mine that hasnt been emptied.

but it'd tell me that there's no ore to mine... but im mining... and noone around...

no unless the mine is dry unlikley though check your skill is 50 and try mining a wall.Not many people mine them.

u mean to try mining mountains outside the cave?

yeah the walls outside work or the little stones in the wooded areas are usually unmined just walk about a bit you'll get the hang of it soon enough.
The edges inside mines also dont usually get mined so you could try them the ore in a mine will refresh after about 6 hours i think so try every now and again.

are you waiting for the action to complete before mining again? If you don't wait for it to find something or say you didn't find anything, you're just cancelling the action which makes you fail automatically

PS still think the frost elf is much better than human, it's not too late!

My newbie crafter is a frostelf. Made the mistake of going human last time I was here.

It sucks training up from a lower skill level, but knowing that I have the extra skill cap rocks. And home sweet home is mighty nice since I mine on ice isle.
