lol @ lemmy yeah .
i had to comment or i couldnt well call myself a christian.
i do realize talking religion causes probs but i am not ashamed of god and want everyone to know him.
i can still be friends with pple who dont believe as we know its their choice but that doesnt mean i will not pray for them to have the chance to know jesus the way i do. without him i would be totally lost. with him i am strong. hope some of you someday understand.

Well, unfortunately, i believe that she is not going to heaven. However, i personally dont believe in hell in the traditional sense (fire and brimstone and the like). I believe that hell is spending an eternity without god, as opposed to eternity with god (which is heaven). the grass is no more greener on the other side... but definitely darker. there's only one person i serve, and it isnt a "god". serve in your heaven, or have freedom in your hell. they both sound like shitty deals to me... but oh well. not much we can do about it.
ever think we're just jesters? as soon as we don't amuse we'll be tossed for something innovative.
you can't go into details about something you know nothing about.. look at ALL the religions out there... and they ALL can't be right. but they all believe in something greater than us.
or maybe we are the gods. we're gods when we have pets, or when we have children. we dont have omniscience or omnipotence, but we have ultimate power of decision over another life. a country is a god to its devoted soldiers, who fight and die for her. and follow any order without personal judgement.
i believe in "belief"
a wiser man than i once said (and i'm probably misquoting), "if there weren't a god, would we have the need to create him?".
hmm...
i wonder...

I prefer Kierkegaard's idea of faith as one of the ways to find meaning in your life. Being correct isn't really the priority; if it is your priority then I'd make the claim that there's probably very little substance to your spirituality

wow those are some big words keld...anyways I like to think of this as fractions.... Jesus was proven to be a real person what was not proven was that he is the son of god.... alot of ppl belived it so he must of did alot of stuff to convience him so in my opinion thats around 50-75 % chance he was.... im not an expert on any other religions but i think christian religion has a good chance of being correct like i said around 50% - 75%.... so that means there is chance of there being a god and alot of the stuff from the bible are true( i imagine alot was distorted over the years but the main ideas couldnt of been changed much)... so if you follow the chiristian religion your not really gonna have a bad life and you might live a better life becasue of it, do the laws of it are basic laws of life... so there yah go if if there is no god what dose it hurt but if there is a god and chrisitan religion is true then it mgiht hurt somthing
ps. i tried not to be bias so i thought fractions would be a nice way to do it

No I don't unless u can answer a few of my questions here's 1 .. Adam and Eve had only 3 sons according to the bible so did they make other kids out of thin air ?? or play party incest games with there mother.

so are u saying that it was ok to get it on with your mother Keld back when the world was born or making a suggestion that it was ok then but not now ?? No sitting on the fence m8 spit it out all this they were pure back then doesn't wash with me.BTW more people have died in the name of GOD than all the wars in the world put together.Imo it's the best scam ever made 1000's of years ago to gullible people.As for genetics we all have our own dna and frame of mind and to think that someone could love there mother platonically then want to make love to them is just plain sick.
