Carpentry
Skill details:
- The skill of carpentry is the art of making furnature.There are several tools of the carpenter but I like using the plane. There are several others like nails, saw, and almost all of them work and do all the same thing.
- Several types of tools areavailable from your local carpentry shop. Tinkerers can also make them.
- The basic resource of the carpenter is wood log or boards. Boards can be purchased from a carpenter vendor or you can cut down logs with the Lumberjacking skill.
- Higher skilled carpenters can make high quality items like looms, spinning wheels, beds, and other really cool house items. They also have a more general chance at success at making lower skilled items.
- Grandmaster Carpenters (with 100 skill) can have a Maker's Mark placed on the item they have created if it is of Exceptional quality. For example it will state Large Bed crafted by YourName.
Skill usage:
Start carpentry
by doubleclicking on your carpentry tool and selecting some wooden logs
or boards. There is no difference between the different tools available
in Obsidian. They all do the same thing.
The menu that
comes up will show you with your
current wood what items can be made.
